CURIUM carried out a contamination analysis followed by a decontamination operation in a R&D laboratory of about 20 m² that used mercury equipment.
Pre- and post-decontamination measures were taken to monitor the effectiveness of the decontamination using a portable mercury vapour detector.
All along the intervention, recommendations and operating procedures were established with the client or updated in order to improve practices and minimize mercury contamination.
