In partnership with ONET, CURIUM has managed VLLW and LLW-LL categories NORM wastes that were stored by YARA following the dismantling of its fertilizer production unit in France.
This mission consisted of:
- The development of a waste management strategy
- The management of waste acceptance files for disposal facilities
- The implementation of processes to bring waste into conformity with the specifications of the disposal facilities (decontamination of equipment, physicochemical stabilization of waste)
- Wastes pre-treatment, packaging and transport to the disposal facilities
