Customer's Need/Sector

The customer wanted to dismantle an unused plant that distilled boron trichloride and methyltrichlorosilane. During the reaction, silane and borane hydrides (water-reactive compounds) were also produced. CURIUM had previously carried out a detailed study of the process and a HAZOP type risk analysis. The gases contained in the installation were first purged and treated in the gas scrubber designed by CURIUM. The elements were decontaminated. The installation was then inerted with a gas.
