CURIUM provided project management assistance to ADEME (the French Environment and Energy Management Agency) to find the owners of hazardous waste (24,765 tons) from a site abandoned following a fire.
The mission consisted in urgently securing the site, and then finding the producers of the untreated waste.
The CURIUM team was also in charge of the design of works in complex environments (presence of mercury vapours, lead and cadmium dusts, explosive atmospheres); negotiation with subcontractors; monitoring, validation and acceptance of works.
